Medix is now hiring a Registered Nurse for a preventative care service provider!
Shift:
Mon-Fri (start time between 7:30am-8:00am)

Population :
Travel Health, Outpatient Responsibilities Conduct thorough travel health consultations, providing personalized guidance on destination-specific health concerns, disease prevention, and safe travel practices. Administer immunizations in accordance with standing orders and monitor patients for any adverse reactions following vaccination. Counsel clients on appropriate travel-related medications and preventive health products, ensuring recommendations align with clinical guidelines and individual travel needs. Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, including inventory management, regulatory compliance, documentation, clinic preparation, and record maintenance. Participate in corporate wellness programs and assist with off-site vaccination and health promotion events as required. Maintain expertise in travel medicine through ongoing training and professional development focused on emerging global health risks and best practices. Qualifications Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure 1+ year of clinical nursing experience CPR, ACLS, and BCLS Certification Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance Background in public health or travel health is a PLUS • We will consider for employment all qualified Applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance (FCIHO), Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers (ULAC), The San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance (FCO), and the California Fair Chance Act (CFCA). • As a job position within our Allied division, a successful completion of a background check may be required as a condition of employment. This requirement is directly related to essential job functions including but not limited to: providing direct patient care, accessing medical and confidential records, accessing and administering prescription medication or other drugs, working within a clinical setting, handling sharp instruments, conducting medical procedures, and working within departments that care for vulnerable populations, such as, minors, elderly and those with physical or mental disabilities.
