Role Overview:
As a School Nurse (RN) you will, provide primary health care and emergency services to students and staff, promote wellness, and serve as a health resource within the school community. This role supports student success by addressing health-related barriers to learning.
Job Details:
Hours:
8am-3: 30 (may be earlier or later with bussing) 1 nurse in the SMNP (Medical Program) class 1 nurse in the SLE (supported Learning Environment) classroom
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Provide first aid and emergency care. Monitor students with chronic conditions (e.
G., asthma, diabetes, seizures). Conduct contact tracing and illness follow-ups. Support individualized health plans for students with special needs. Maintain accurate student health records. Ensure compliance with state health regulations and school policies.
