Visits Description:
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to join our Emergency Department team. Our ED features 10 beds and serves a moderate-volume, fast-paced environment . The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative setting and must be confident in providing care across all patient populations.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently assess, diagnose, and manage patients in an emergency care setting Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and other emergent care needs Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes Document clinical findings and treatment plans using Cerner EMR Provide compassionate care to both adult and pediatric populations
Requirements:
Active NP license in Illinois Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room Inpatient experience
REQUIRED
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills Comfortable managing a wide variety of emergent conditions in a 10-bed ER setting Proficient with
Cerner EMR Preferred Qualifications:
Pediatric certification (PEDS) is a plus
