Schedule:
Full-time We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time school-based position in the Maywood, IL area for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year . This RN will primarily be assigned to a middle school setting , but candidates must be flexible and open to floating to other schools within the district as needed. This role is ideal for a dependable nurse who is comfortable supporting student health needs, working closely with school staff, and helping maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
Requirements:
Candidates must be a licensed Registered Nurse and must hold a BSN .
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to students during the school day. Support students with daily medical needs, medication administration, and health-related concerns. Respond to illnesses, injuries, and emergencies as needed. Maintain accurate health records and documentation. Communicate with families, school staff, and healthcare providers when appropriate. Support health plans, IEP/504-related medical needs, and student safety protocols. Float within the district as needed based on school coverage and student support needs.

They should be comfortable supporting middle school students while also being adaptable to different school environments throughout the district.
