Float Position Details:
Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
Locations:
Naperville, Glen Ellyn, Lombard, Joliet, Lockport, Bloomingdale, Orland Park Schedule:
Monday-Friday, variable hours based on clinic schedule; occasional Saturday support
Job Summary:
The Float Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Allergy provides clinical support across multiple allergy clinic locations.
This role assists providers in delivering high-quality patient care, manages patient flow, and ensures efficient clinic operations. The RN will support rooming and discharging patients, performing allergy skin testing, and completing administrative tasks such as faxes, school forms, and in-basket messages. Flexibility to travel between clinic sites is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Room patients, obtain vital signs, and collect medical histories Assist providers with patient care, procedures, and allergy skin testing Discharge patients and provide education and visit instructions Manage clinical in-basket messages and patient communications Complete faxes, school forms, and other administrative documentation Support clinic workflow and operations across multiple locations Collaborate effectively with providers, nurses, and support staff Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois Previous outpatient, allergy, or immunology clinical experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site environment Flexibility to support multiple clinic locations and varying schedules
Work Environment:
Work performed primarily in outpatient clinic settings Travel between multiple sites required Occasional weekend coverage The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $27.00-38.50, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
