Compensation:
$40-$50/hour, based on experience Tasks About the Role A healthcare organization in the North Shore Chicago area is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care and support day-to-day clinical operations. This role is ideal for an RN who is confident in patient assessment, care planning, documentation, medication administration, and communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. The RN will help oversee patient care, monitor changes in condition, coordinate with providers and care staff, and support a safe, organized, and compassionate care environment. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and a calm approach to patient care. Requirements Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care and clinical oversight for assigned patients Complete patient assessments and monitor changes in condition Develop, follow, and update care plans in collaboration with the care team Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and clinical protocols Communicate with physicians, families, patients, and interdisciplinary team members Supervise or support LPNs, CNAs, or other care staff as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record Respond to patient needs, concerns, and changes in condition promptly Follow infection control, safety, privacy, and compliance standards Support quality care, patient satisfaction, and smooth daily operations Qualifications Active Illinois RN license in good standing Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to prioritize patient needs and manage multiple responsibilities Professional, reliable, and compassionate bedside manner Experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, home health, clinic, hospital, or long-term care is a plus Benefits What's Offered Competitive hourly pay for the North Shore Chicago market Supportive clinical leadership and team environment Opportunity to provide meaningful patient-centered care Full-time schedule with potential for long-term growth Training, onboarding, and continued development opportunities
