About us Minis, Inc is a pediatric walk in clinic in Oak Lawn, IL 60453. We are fast-paced, creative and customer-centric.
Our work environment includes:
Flexible working hours On-the-job training Safe work environment Growth opportunities Lively atmosphere Modern office setting We are looking for a Full-Time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our new walk-in practice. The clinic hours are open from 9am-8pm.

Pediatrics Job Responsibilities:
Identify changes in a childs signs and symptoms and intervene in emergent situations Differentiate between normal and abnormal physical findings Engage patients and their families in conversation to determine types and extent of illnesses Create and implement individualized plans of nursing care to meet each patients specific requirements Order and follow up on medical tests such as blood work, x rays and other scan Diagnose and treat a wide array of acute, chronic and critical illnesses by effectively interpreting test results Provide patients and their families with information on diagnosis and assist them in coming to terms with them through appropriate counselling Educate patients and their families in a bid to help them accept changes in lifestyles and appreciate the treatment being given to them Act as a point of contact for responding to questions and concerns regarding treatments and illnesses Administer medication using age-appropriate guidelines Evaluate a child for signs and symptoms of abuse
Requirements:
1+ years of pediatrics experience as a nurse practitioner No new grads
No FNP No RN Skills:
Communication Skills Confident Critical thinking and dependability working under pressure
