10 Weeks Are you a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced surgical setting? We are seeking a dedicated RN to join a collaborative interdisciplinary care team providing exceptional patient-centered care during night shifts. Position Highlights Work alongside an experienced interdisciplinary healthcare team Opportunity to care for a diverse surgical patient population Utilize critical thinking and advanced nursing skills in a supportive environment Focus on patient advocacy, safety, and quality care Gain experience in a highly collaborative acute care setting Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Deliver evidence-based nursing care and monitor patient progress Collaborate with physicians, care teams, patients, and families to ensure optimal outcomes Administer medications, treatments, and bedside procedures safely and accurately Perform patient assessments, specimen collection, and bedside lab testing Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs Promote patient safety and effective communication throughout the care continuum Respond effectively to changing patient conditions and prioritize care accordingly Qualifications Active Illinois RN License BLS Certification (AHA) ASN required; BSN preferred Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience Strong critical thinking and communication skills Basic computer proficiency and EMR documentation experience Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced acute care environment Ideal Candidate Compassionate and patient-focused Strong multitasking and clinical decision-making abilities Team-oriented with excellent communication skills Committed to continuous learning and professional development Comfortable working night shifts in a surgical care environment Take the next step in your nursing career and join a team committed to excellence in patient care!
