This pivotal position requires a dedicated Registered Nurse with a BSN and PEL endorsement for Certified School Nurse responsibilities. Key qualifications:
Active Illinois RN license with BSN and PEL endorsement as Certified School Nurse Previous experience as a Certified School Nurse strongly preferred Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills are a significant asset Ability to demonstrate flexibility, dependability, and strong teamwork Commitment to excellent attendance and reliability Responsibilities include: Managing the health office for a school, including care coordination and record-keeping Completing medical reviews and evaluations as part of student planning Active participation in IEP and 504 meetings and documentation Supporting students and families with diverse healthcare needs throughout the school year Collaborating with educators and administrative staff for cohesive student support This contract offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, spanning the academic year from August 2026 through May 2027. Candidates should anticipate an in-person interview process.
