Job Description

Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Take your skills as an RN or LPN to an environment where you can make a significant impact on elementary and middle school students! We're seeking two full-time nurses who are passionate about school-based care and share a commitment to helping children maintain optimal health and wellness during their school day. You'll join a supportive, collaborative team and play a key role in providing medical care, health education, and support to students in grades 2-7. Use your clinical expertise in a rewarding setting where each day brings new opportunities to advocate for students' health and safety.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current and valid RN or LPN license Experience in a school setting or pediatric care preferred Strong assessment and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Training or interest in legal nurse consulting is a plus Compassionate, adaptable, and organized approach to care
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer routine and emergency medical care to students and staff Manage health records, immunizations, and medication administration in accordance with compliance standards Provide health screenings, first aid, and chronic disease management Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student well-being Serve as a resource for health education and wellness initiatives Document all care provided and maintain accurate student records This role offers a unique chance to make lasting connections and provide vital healthcare services in a school environment.
