Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical Orthopedics Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in a Medical/Surgical Orthopedic unit. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, experience caring for orthopedic and medical-surgical patients, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Guaranteed Hours:
36 Hours per Week Requirements Minimum 2-3 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience. Orthopedic nursing experience preferred. Current BLS certification required. ACLS certification preferred. Active RN license in good standing. Strong assessment, communication, and patient care skills. Permanent residence must be located more than 50 miles from the facility. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and orthopedic patients. Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders. Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and nursing best practices. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting a safe healing environment.
Pay:
$2,000.00 - $2,250.00 per week Application Question(s): permanent address must be greater than 50 miles from facility
