1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a mid-to-large hospital in Illinois, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and an active IL RN license. Details Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit with 14 labor rooms, 3 triage/overnight observation rooms, 2 ORs, 3 PACUs, and a 4-bed OBED off the unit High-volume unit averaging approximately 230 deliveries per month 13-week contract with 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 3 shifts per week Every other weekend and holiday coverage required No on-call responsibilities Requirements Active Illinois (IL) RN license required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience in a mid-to-large hospital setting Additional Information Provides intrapartum nursing care in a busy, full-service Labor & Delivery unit with surgical and post-anesthesia care capabilities
