The Valley View Public School District is seeking individuals to fill Temporary positions of Registered School Nurse for the 2025-2026 Summer Connections School program.

Orientation:

June 1, 2026

Date:

June 2, 2026 - June 30, 2026 •No classes on June 19, 2026

Locations:

Kenneth L.

Hermansen and Oak View Elementary Schools Time:

8:45am-1:15pm

students will be at Oak View Elementary School AVM and KLH students will be at Kenneth L. Hermansen Elementary School

JOB SUMMARY

The Registered School Nurse is responsible to the Administrator of Family & Community Engagement, Director of Student Supports, Building Administrator for completing all health duties related to the school age student and completing all health duties related to identifying and serving students with disabilities, including, but not limited to, the following: providing direct services to disabled students, administering medication to students, providing consultation and assistance regarding specific student health needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

The Registered School Nurse must be a licensed registered nurse, complete state required training for vision and hearing certification and complete CPR training.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The salary is determined in accordance with the Classified Nurses Salary Schedule. Applicants must work the entire session. No vacation times or substitutes are acceptable.
