As a Cath Lab RN, you'll expand your horizons by collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, learning from diverse leadership styles, and utilizing cutting-edge technology. Schedule:
Day Shift On-Call Rotation:
Weeknights, Weekends, and Holidays Qualifications:
Active IL RN Licensure (IDFPR) Graduate of an accredited nursing program (education verification required) 3 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in critical care Prior cardiovascular intervention experience necessary Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS Must successfully pass EKG test before orientation completion
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care using critical thinking and interdisciplinary collaboration Perform thorough assessments, medication administration, and develop individualized patient care plans Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with system standards Provide patient and family education, adapting communication to their level of understanding Support shared governance, performance improvement, and peer feedback Mentor colleagues, resolve clinical system issues, promote safety, and escalate concerns as needed Foster a positive, growth-oriented professional environment
