Pay Rate:

Med Surg Urology RN Shifts:

12hr, 18:45-07:15

Job Summary:

Provides nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-operative:

Prepare patients and answer questions.

Intra-operative:

Assist surgeons, pass instruments, monitor patient.

Post-operative:

Manage recovery, monitor for complications, educate patients. Maintain a safe and efficient OR environment.

Requirements:

RN license in state of assignment. Minimum 2-year(s) exp. BLS and ACLS required. Experience in medical-surgical units preferred. Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills.

Work Environment & Demands:

Will work every other weekend Hospital settings (Med-Surg units, post-op recovery, step-down). Physical demands include standing, lifting patients/equipment, and stress management.
