6 Weekend Shifts Per Schedule Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Med Surg/Telemetry to join our team at Carle Foundation Hospital.
The ideal candidate will have strong acute care experience and be comfortable caring for adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions while monitoring telemetry rhythms. Requirements Active RN License (Illinois or Compact License if applicable) Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience Current BLS Certification (AHA) ACLS Certification Required Previous acute care/hospital experience required Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med Surg and Telemetry patients. Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment. Interpret and monitor telemetry rhythms and report significant changes. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR). Respond effectively to changes in patient conditions and emergency situations. Compensation Local Pay Up to $63/hour on W2 Travel Pay $36/hour on W2 $1,240
