Job DescriptionSchedule:
PRN, must work at minimum, one shift per pay periodThe Wellness Nurse supports the health and well-being of residents through ongoing clinical monitoring and support, provides assistance to community nurses, caregivers, and medication personnel to help ensure regulatory compliance and clinical excellence. The ability to work effectively as part of a team with flexibility and adaptability to change and pace of duties while maintaining a warm and encouraging disposition is important.

Assist in coordination of the resident admission process including screening, assessment, and care needsEnsure care is delivered as indicated in resident care plansMedication and treatment administration and ensure medications are administered per physicians' ordersAssistance with coordinating care and services with other outside providers including resident physiciansDocument and report care provided and resident observations including unusual or significant changesMaintain a working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and proceduresQualificationsTo be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

Working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures, dictated for complianceGraduate from an accredited school of practical nursingCurrent nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN)Three years' experience in assessment and geriatric nursing, preferredA big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our ResidentsAdditional InformationIf you join Spectrum as a full-time team member, your story will include eligibility for medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, and other voluntary insurance options.
