Qualifications & Experience:
Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license At least 2 years of recent CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Familiarity with a range of cardiac surgical procedures and cardiac equipment Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and protocols
Responsibilities:
Provide expert RN support in the CVOR, working alongside cardiac surgeons and multidisciplinary teams Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures Prepare, maintain, and operate CVOR equipment Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control guidelines Contribute to a collaborative environment focused on positive patient outcomes Maintain accurate records and communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members
