Job Description

Director of nursing Should have Indiana Licensed RN All America Home Healthcare has Director of Nursing position open Par Time and Full TIme ,Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership Oversee all nursing services and clinical care provided by the home health agency. Ensure patients receive appropriate, high-quality care according to physician orders and care plans. Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives. Staff Management Recruit, hire, train, and supervise registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and clinical staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide mentorship and leadership. Ensure proper staffing levels for patient needs. Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local home health regulations. Maintain readiness for regulatory inspections and audits. Ensure documentation meets standards for agencies such as Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) The Joint Commission (if accredited) Care Coordination Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and caregivers. Oversee development and review of patient care plans. Ensure effective communication among the healthcare team. Quality Assurance Develop and implement quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) programs. Monitor patient safety, infection control, and clinical best practices. Policy Development Establish and update clinical policies and procedures. Ensure staff follows agency protocols and evidence-based practices. Patient & Family Support Address patient or family concerns related to nursing care. Promote patient education and home safety.
