We are seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Evansville, IN. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac and stepdown experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced intermediate care environment.

Bed Progressive Cardiac Care Unit Patient Population Includes:
Medical/Cardiac Patients Pre/Post CV Surgery Arrhythmia Heart Failure Stroke Overflow Patient Ratio:
1:4-5
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in a PCU/Stepdown setting Monitor cardiac patients and respond to changes in condition Administer medications and treatments as ordered Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams Interpret cardiac rhythms and monitor telemetry Maintain accurate patient documentation Support patient education and discharge planning Ensure compliance with hospital safety and care standards
Requirements:
Active RN License Minimum 1 Year Recent PCU /
Stepdown Experience Required BLS Certification Required ACLS Certification Required NIH Stroke Certification Required Preferred Qualifications:
Strong Cardiac Stepdown experience Experience with telemetry monitoring Previous travel nursing experience preferred CA02
Pay:
$2,100.00 - $2,150.00 per week
