Make a Difference Community Health Network has an excellent opportunity available at Community North in the ICU Unit. We are seeking nurses to commit to a 13-week assignment, working three 12-hour night shifts per week. Earn Travel RN pay without the travel! The Registered Nurse will work within an exciting, fast-paced medical/surgical ICU environment that is ideal for those seeking to care for the highest acuity of patients (including craniotomies, total radical necks and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome). You will gain experience with ventilators, chest tubes, drips, dialysis, trachs, and much more! The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with a great team in this split 34-bed unit to care for the north side's sickest patients. Preparations have begun in the ICU for the opening of a new bone marrow stem cell transplant unit in 2026. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Demonstration of performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of Community Health Network; demonstration of skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resources. Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) At least three full years of recent ICU-level RN experience with proficiency in the care of mechanical ventilation, CRRT, Lead II Cardiac Monitor interpretation, sepsis, DKA, CIWA, cardiac arrest and acute stroke patients Current BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications required upon hire CCRN certification preferred May be placed on call and/or float to other units as needed Why Community?
