WNE School Nurse

West Noble Elementary is seeking a compassionate and organized School Nurse to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. This role focuses on supporting the health and well-being of students in grades 2-4. You will work closely with all WN nurses to maintain a safe, healthy learning environment for both students and staff. Key Responsibilities Provide first aid, emergency care, and medication administration to students in a pediatric school setting. Monitor and manage chronic health conditions (e.g., allergies, asthma, diabetes) for students within the 2-4 grade span. Coordinate with the Head Nurse and school administration to implement health protocols and wellness programs. Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with state and district health regulations. Position Details $30,880 - $44,776 per year (based on licensing). $20 - $29 per hour, 8 hours per day | 193-196 days per year (following the school calendar). Qualifications RN or BSN is preferred. A BSN, RN, LPN, CNA, RMA or MQA must have a valid, current license in order to be eligible for the position and listed wages. Experience in pediatrics or a school setting is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to relate effectively to elementary-aged children. This job description is subject to change.
