Assesses, develops, implements and evaluates educational offerings for the perinatal level zero Deaconess facilities & teams, emergency services teams, and tri-state level zero regional facilities. The Perinatal Level Zero RN Educator positively affects the quality of patient care by functioning as a learning facilitator, change agent, mentor, leader, champion for scientific inquiry, advocate for perinatal level zero specialty and partner for practice transitions throughout the hospital and community settings. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and skills to provide or direct patient care appropriate to the age of patients served. This Educator will travel approximately one day per week to outside facilities and healthcare entities to provide education onsite.
Required:
Certifications/Licenses/Experience:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana or other compact licensed state Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) Required or Bachelor's Degree with an educational plan to receive (MSN) with expected graduation of two years. Minimum of two years' relevant experience of experience in perinatal nursing care.
