Job Description
Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Set in scenic Newburgh, IN, this travel nursing role in a dynamic stepdown unit is ideal for professionals eager to expand their expertise while experiencing the charm of the Midwest. Schedule/Hours:
13-week contract, 36 guaranteed hours per week (option for 48 hours on request) 12-hour night shifts (6:30pm-7am) Three weekends every six weeks; every other holiday Bi-weekly orientation start datesQualifications:
Compact RN license;AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS
(active) Minimum 2 years RN experience, with at least 1 year in stepdown Completion of at least one prior travel assignment Trauma level II experience, recent and comprehensive EPIC charting proficiency Telemetry/12-lead EKG interpretation, drip initiation/titration, strong neuro/NIHSS skills required Hardworking, resilient, and social; able to adapt to change and teach new staff/students if necessaryResponsibilities:
Deliver expert care to cardiac, neuro, and diverse stepdown patients Perform complex assessments, titrate critical drips, and conduct neurological evaluations Float to other nearby campuses as needed, with notice Champion teamwork and support patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary staffBenefits & Perks:
