Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Valid RN license in the state Minimum of one year recent experience in Interventional Radiology nursing or related procedural care BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong IV skills and experience with conscious sedation Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities Experience monitoring patients during complex IR procedures

Core Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures from pre-operative assessment through post-procedural recovery Monitor patient status, administer medications and sedation agents, and handle emergency situations swiftly and effectively Assist interventional radiologists and physicians with a variety of procedures (e.g., PICC line placements, angiograms, biopsies) Maintain sterile environments, adhere to infection control protocols, and ensure all equipment is functioning properly Deliver clear communication and education to patients and families regarding procedural expectations and post-care instructions Document care in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory guidelines Experience a collaborative, supportive environment where your skills make a real difference.
