What You'll Do Plays a pivotal role in providing excellent patient care in our primary care clinic for employees, the student health office and in the employee wellness program. How You'll Succeed Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. Perform a focused interview to access signs and symptoms including the physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition. Documents the patient's plan of care using the diagnosis, expected patient outcomes and selected nursing interventions. Provides a safe, comfortable and therapeutic patient environment. Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient needs including the initial triage, establishing priorities for plan of care and administer medication. Monitors the safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipment. Supports professional practice by observing the following: 1) Nurses Practice Act; 2) Standards of Nursing Practice; 3) Standards of Patient Care; 4) State and Local Laws; and 5) Patient's Bill of Rights. Be self-motivated, professional, and dependable. It may require some additional hours as needed for coverage.
