Key Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted RN license Specialized experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong assessment, critical thinking, and IV skills Ability to provide patient education and pre/post-procedure care Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

Assist physicians in prepping and circulating during IR procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and respond proactively to changes in status Manage and administer medications and IV contrast as needed Provide thorough documentation of care and interventions in patient records Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for scheduled cases Offer support and information to patients and families throughout their experience
