Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role providing exceptional patient care in a well-supported acute care specialty unit. As part of a dedicated team of registered nurses and patient care technicians, you will play a key part in delivering quality nursing services for a 29-bed unit. You'll have the opportunity to work with the latest equipment, including PCA pumps and IV pumps, and utilize Meditech EMR for streamlined documentation.
Schedule/Hours:
7:00 PM - 7:00
AM Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Valid RN license with current BLS certification Proven experience in a Telemetry/Acute Care setting Proficient with central line care and managing medication drips Familiarity with Meditech EMR a plus Strong critical thinking skills and an independent, proactive approach Positive attitude and ability to engage effectively with staff and patients
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and document patient status and activity, following established guidelines and protocols Manage patient loads with a nurse-to-patient ratio estimated at 1:6 Utilize hospital equipment including PCA and IV pumps Collaborate with a seasoned team of RNs and Care Techs, ensuring comprehensive patient support on night shifts Provide direct bedside care, administer medications, and respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions
