Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Contract Exciting contract opportunity for an experienced RN specializing in Telemetry! This role offers hands-on experience with advanced technology and a strong, highly collaborative team environment. Work within a modern 37-bed telemetry unit equipped with PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes, supporting both routine telemetry and heart cath recovery. Candidates will be fully immersed in a fast-paced, supportive setting that values engaged, independent nursing professionals.
Schedule/Hours:
7 PM to 7 AM, night shifts
Required Qualifications:
Active RN license, with recent Telemetry experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications Demonstrated skill in critical patient monitoring and strong independent decision-making
Preferred Experience:
Comfort with central line management, medication drips, and post-heart catheterization recovery Familiarity with bubble studies
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess patients using advanced telemetry equipment Administer medications, manage drips, and support chest tube care as per protocols Respond effectively to acute patient needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff Accurately document in Meditech EMR Provide heart cath recovery support and participate in complex procedures as required Why Consider This Opportunity?
