Qualifications:

Active RN license in good standing At least 1 year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic technique, and patient safety protocols Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Excellent communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver safe and effective nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs throughout operations Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all necessary equipment and sterile fields are set up Monitor and document patient status, advocating for patient safety at every stage Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and assist with instruments and supplies Maintain strict adherence to infection control standards and hospital policies Provide clear patient updates to families and interdisciplinary teams post-procedure
