Key Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Experience in perioperative nursing, specifically the Operating Room (OR) In-depth knowledge of surgical asepsis, sterile technique, and patient safety protocols Proven skills in monitoring patient status during procedures and responding to dynamic situations Strong ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support staff Current BLS certification (additional certifications preferred)

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases Prepare surgical suites, ensuring all instruments are sterile and supplies are ready Act as a scrub or circulating nurse based on each procedure's needs Monitor patient status, including vital signs, anesthesia response, and pain management Maintain and update patient records accurately and promptly Communicate efficiently with surgeons, anesthesia, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care
