Emergency Room (ER) RN - Critical Access Hospital (CAH) - 12-Hour Shifts Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Emergency Room RN and make a vital impact in a bustling 14-bed Critical Access Hospital. Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ER RN to provide exceptional emergency care in a critical access hospital setting. This contract position runs from June 20 to August 1, 2026, offering 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM). You will be working in a rewarding environment, utilizing your previous CAH and travel experience, with the chance to develop your skills further while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Qualified candidates will bring professionalism, energy, and compassion to this vital role.
Required Skills:
Valid RN license in good standing BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certification Proven experience in ER and Med/Surg settings Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working every other weekend Nice to
Have Skills:
Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital Prior travel nursing experience Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records (EMR) systems Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
Active RN license, with relevant experience in ER and Med/Surg departments At least 2 years of nursing experience, including travel or CAH experience preferred
Other Requirements:
