Job Description

Overview Travel Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery in Dundee, KS. This 13-week travel assignment is in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. Start date is 07/05/2026 with a 3x12-hour night shift. Weekly pay ranges from $2,232 to $2,328.

Setting:
Short Term Acute Care Hospital - Labor & Delivery specialization Responsibilities Provide direct obstetric and newborn nursing care to laboring patients and their newborns, including monitoring labor progression and fetal status. Administer medications and manage pain relief per clinical protocols; assist with delivery as needed and provide immediate postpartum and newborn care. Monitor maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate, respond to abnormalities, and implement emergency interventions in coordination with the obstetric team. Document care accurately in the medical record; anticipate patient education needs and provide family guidance throughout the perinatal period. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, anesthesia, and support staff; participate in continuous quality improvement and safety initiatives. May float to MS and provide pediatric care as overflow demands; EPIC experience is highly preferred for documentation. Requirements Active Kansas RN license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
