Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic and rewarding environment as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. Professionals in this role ensure patient safety, smooth procedures, and excellent perioperative care, working alongside a diverse team of healthcare experts.
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license with unrestricted practice authority At least one year of recent experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting Proficiency in circulating and scrubbing for a variety of surgical procedures Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control Exceptional organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical team
Schedule:
Contract position with consistent, full-time hours Flexible scheduling depending on facility needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver safe and high-quality care before, during, and after surgical procedures Accurately assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the OR Collaborate closely with surgeons, surgical techs, anesthesiologists, and other staff Prepare and maintain the surgical environment, ensuring all instruments and supplies are available and sterile Advocate for patient needs, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in condition Document care thoroughly and communicate effectively with patients and team members This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed OR nurse to expand skills, contribute to positive surgical outcomes, and experience a fast-paced, supportive clinical setting.
