Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Bring your specialized Operating Room nursing skills to a dynamic healthcare environment where patient safety and surgical excellence are top priorities. This opportunity involves utilizing your expertise as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room to assist surgical teams, ensure optimal patient care, and uphold strict OR protocols throughout all procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to surgical patients Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate documentation Prepare operating rooms, including instrumentation, supplies, and necessary equipment Uphold infection control standards and sterile techniques at all times Support patients and their families with clear communication and compassionate care Respond quickly to emergency situations to preserve patient safety Ensure compliance with facility policies, state, and federal healthcare regulations
Schedule:
Contract position; schedule details provided during interview process
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of one year recent experience in the Operating Room or perioperative setting Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Strong knowledge of operating room procedures, equipment, and safety protocols Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills This position is ideal for someone ready to step into a vital Operating Room role on a contract basis, bringing advanced clinical skills and a dedication to patient advocacy.
