Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Rehab/LTC Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in patient recovery at a brand-new, state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital dedicated to exceptional post-acute care. This contract position offers you the opportunity to utilize and further develop your nursing expertise in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Schedule/Hours:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM shifts Flexible contract engagement
Qualifications:
Active RN license with experience in rehabilitation or long-term care settings BLS certification required Ability to read telemetry strips is a must
Preferred:
CRRN certification, ACLS (or willingness to obtain within 90 days), experience with Quality Indicator scoring in post-acute settings Proficient in using Meditech Magic EMR Strong communication skills and a passion for patient education and advocacy
Core Responsibilities:
Support and implement individualized rehabilitation care plans designed by an interdisciplinary team Conduct thorough head-to-toe assessments and regularly monitor patient progress Administer IV medications and blood products as needed, perform lab draws, and manage other advanced nursing tasks Utilize patient lifts, iSTAT, glucometers, and respiratory therapy devices Educate patients and families on care plans and ongoing recovery processes Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure adherence to all facility policies and guidelines
