Job Description

Director of Nursing leading nursing care in a long‑term care setting for a 13‑week travel assignment in Dodge City, Kansas. This role offers competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits while overseeing resident care and staff performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement nursing care plans tailored to the needs of long‑term care residents Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the nursing department to maintain high‑quality patient care Ensure accurate documentation of resident care activities and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote resident well‑being and optimize care outcomes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited institution Registered Nurse license in Kansas Basic Life Support (BLS) certification CPR certification Minimum of 1 year experience in long‑term care or nursing leadership roles Ability to work a flexible schedule within specified hours Strong leadership and communication skills Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
