Job Description

At Accord Hospice of Manhattan , we are expanding and looking for a compassionate, driven Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about hospice care. About the Role As part of our clinical leadership team, you'll play a key role in ensuring exceptional patient care while supporting and guiding field staff. This is a dynamic position that blends clinical expertise, collaboration, and community outreach. What You'll Do Support and develop field staff in hospice care competencies Collaborate closely with physicians, facilities, and referral sources Serve as a liaison between patients, families, caregivers, and staff Coordinate patient care plans and ensure needs are met Assist with community events and provide educational in-services Act as a resource on Medicare and hospice regulatory guidelines Help oversee staff compliance with policies and procedures Ensure high-quality patient care through leadership and oversight Coordinate staffing and review incoming referrals Support onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development What We're Looking For Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills Compassion and empathy for patients and families Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Ability to remain calm under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A team-oriented mindset with leadership potential Additional Responsibilities Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate updates to physicians Coordinate care with community healthcare providers Participate in on-call rotation as needed Ensure necessary equipment and services are in place for patient care Supervise and evaluate hospice care services every two weeks Why Join Us?
