Job Description

Overview + Health, dental, and vision insurance options + Paid vacation, sick time and holidays + Bereavement leave, FMLA and other leave options + Employer 401K options + Tuition reimbursement options + Life, disability, and other insurance options + Many other amazing benefits Responsibilities + Deliver high-quality care to patients with varying levels of illness and injury. + Triage and quickly assess situations, make decisions, and solve problems efficiently in high-pressure environments. + Cooperation with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. + Aid in resuscitative efforts, including CPR and the use of defibrillators. + Prepare and maintain equipment for emergency interventions (e.g., intubation, central line placement). + Assist in patient stabilization for conditions like trauma, cardiac arrest, and acute illnesses. + Prioritize patient care based on acuity level using triage protocols. Qualifications
EDUCATION , EXPERIENCE , TRAINING 1.
Current and valid state RN License.2. Current BLS ( AHA ) certificate upon hire and maintain current.3. Current ACLS ( AHA ) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.4. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.6. Trauma Nurse Core Course ( TNNC ) within 6 months of hire required.7. Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.8. Certified Emergency Nurse ( CEN ) preferred.9. Bachelor of Science in Nursing ( BSN ) preferred. Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below): 1.In Paramedic Base Station ED:
MICN within 12 months of hire and maintain current.2.EDAP certified facilities:
Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire.3.Non OB facilities:
