Ascentist Healthcare is entering an exciting period of growth, and we're seeking compassionate, skilled Registered Nurses to join our expanding Pre/Post Op team at our physician-owned non-emergency hospital and Hospital Outpatient Procedure Department (HOPD) in Leawood, Kansas. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while building your career in a collaborative, innovative healthcare environment. You'll work alongside highly respected surgeons and clinicians, gain exposure to multiple surgical specialties, and enjoy a schedule that supports work-life balance with no nights, weekends, or holidays. Your Impact as a Pre/Post Op RN As a Pre/Post Op RN, you will play a vital role in guiding patients through their surgical journey.
You will:
Complete pre-operative assessments and ensure patients are ready for surgery Provide education, reassurance, and support to patients and families Monitor patients during post-operative recovery Manage pain, symptoms, and recovery needs Coordinate with providers and multidisciplinary team members to ensure safe, seamless care transitions Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care throughout the surgical experience Why Join Ascentist? Final compensation is negotiable and dependent on experience, education, certifications, and market alignment.
