We're seeking a Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) Nurse to join our hospital team! Apply today and play a vital role in preparing patients for safe, successful procedures across both hospital and HOPD settings. In this role, you'll coordinate pre-operative care alongside surgeons and anesthesia, ensuring patients are informed, cleared, and ready for surgery. This position is based out of our business office in Leawood, KS and will work with providers conducting PAT visits also at a nearby clinic in Leawood, KS as needed. You'll review records, obtain clearances, educate patients and families, and help keep surgical care running smoothly. The PAT nurse:
Coordinates pre-operative patient care alongside the surgeon and anesthesiologist. Communicates with physicians regarding patient clinical changes, including hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic findings, abnormal results, and symptoms. Gathers pertinent information per patient and procedure for clearances among facilities. Collaborates with various departments and colleagues to ensure high-quality patient care and smooth patient flow. $40•$45•final compensation is negotiable and dependent on experience, education, certifications, and market alignment.
