Key Qualifications:
Valid, unencumbered RN license Strong clinical background in Stepdown and PCU care Proven ability to monitor, assess, and intervene for patients requiring frequent observation Advanced critical thinking and strong assessment skills Current BLS and ACLS certifications Comfortable with EMR charting and documentation Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills Ability to adapt in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions Administer prescribed medications and therapies in accordance with care plans Monitor vital signs, recognize early indications of complications, and implement appropriate interventions Work closely with physicians, specialists, and allied health staff for cohesive care delivery Educate patients and family members on post-acute conditions, care procedures, and recovery plans Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient progress
