Join Our Team as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Make a Difference in Critical Care Are you a dedicated Nursing professional seeking a rewarding opportunity to provide life-saving care in a dynamic hospital environment? Our esteemed healthcare facility is looking for a skilled ICU Nurse to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and advance your career in critical care. This pivotal role offers the chance to work in a challenging yet fulfilling setting where your expertise directly impacts patient recovery and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities include providing expert critical care within an 8-bed ICU unit, managing patient acuity with ratios of 2:1 or 3:1, and supporting patients requiring complex treatments. As an ICU Nurse, you will float to specialized departments such as Skilled Nursing, OB (post-partum), and Emergency Department as needed, ensuring flexibility and diverse clinical experience.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical or ICU experience Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications (can be obtained through SWMC within 6 months of hire) Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills Ability to adapt to high-pressure situations and multitask effectively Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience floating to multiple departments such as Emergency or Post-Partum care Previous experience working in a fast-paced hospital setting Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Registered Nurse (RN) license with a minimum of 2 years of critical care or medical-surgical hospital experience BSN degree preferred but not mandatory, with salary adjustments accordingly
Other Requirements:
Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday shifts Jewelry must be kept to a minimum; visible face and body piercings (outside of traditional earrings and small nose studs) are not permitted during duty hours Willingness to float to alternate units such as Skilled Nursing, OB, and Emergency Department as required Valid RN license in good standing, with the ability to obtain required certifications within 6 months of hire This full-time 12-hour shift opportunity starting on April 27, 2026, features competitive pay rates $27.75/hour for new RNs without BSN and starting at $29.25/hour for RNs with a BSN and provides a range of comprehensive benefits, including weekly direct deposit pay, medical insurance, paid sick time, licensure and certification reimbursements, and a relocation bonus of up to $2,500 (with proof).
