As a travel RN in a high-acuity Operating Room setting, you'll be immersed in a specialized neuro-focused environment. Working alongside accomplished clinicians and seasoned leaders, you'll expand your clinical expertise, adapt to new workflows, and cultivate best practices that will elevate your professional profile. This experience allows you to build a resume rich with sophisticated OR cases—essential for any nurse seeking growth and variety.
Schedule:
3 x 12-hour shifts, 08:30-21:00 (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) No regular weekends or holidays required On-call coverage as needed
Key Qualifications:
Valid KS or Compact RN license and BLS certification Extensive experience in neuro-focused perioperative care (neuro team) Preferred background in ENT procedures (adult/pediatric trach/awake, head/neck flaps, ear and soft tissue), and surgical oncology Ability to float to all ORs as needed Nicotine-free status required (facility standard) New graduates are not accepted for this role
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care within a neuro-specialized OR team Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure best patient outcomes Maintain flexibility to float among various OR groups in response to patient needs Support a positive, safety-oriented environment aligned with facility standards
