  • Overland Park, KS A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care across multiple inpatient units.
This role is ideal for a flexible and adaptable nursing professional who thrives in diverse clinical environments and is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care across multiple assigned units Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions while identifying changes that require intervention Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans, medications, and recovery expectations Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and patient safety standards Adapt quickly to varying unit workflows, patient populations, and care needs Support continuity of care and contribute to positive patient outcomes Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or ability to obtain Previous acute care nursing experience preferred Experience caring for medical-surgical, telemetry, orthopedic, rehabilitation, or similar patient populations preferred Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and critical-thinking skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Benefits Competitive compensation package Flexible scheduling opportunities Health, dental, and vision coverage Retirement savings options Continuing education and professional development support Career advancement opportunities Employee wellness resources How to Apply Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their resume to: Please complete the online application to be considered.
