Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse in a dynamic healthcare environment. You will collaborate closely with experienced healthcare teams to assess, triage, and treat patients with diverse medical emergencies while employing the latest advancements in nursing practice.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of one year recent experience in Emergency Room (ER) or trauma nursing Proficient in emergency response protocols, patient assessment, and prioritization Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Key Responsibilities:
Triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity and established protocols Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by physicians Monitor patient status and vital signs, rapidly identifying changes in condition Document assessments, procedures, interventions, and outcomes accurately Work collaboratively with physicians, technicians, and other nurses to deliver comprehensive care Provide education and support to patients and family members Ensure adherence to infection control and safety guidelines In this vital role, you will make a significant difference in the lives of patients, supporting them during some of their most critical moments.
