Qualifications:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of one year recent experience as an OR Nurse Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred Demonstrated proficiency in perioperative nursing practices Exceptional communication and teamwork skills Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced surgical environments

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure safe and effective care before, during, and after procedures Prepare, organize, and maintain sterile supplies and instruments for various surgical operations Monitor patient status, advocate for their safety, and respond rapidly to any changes Accurately document all aspects of patient care, surgical counts, and perioperative activities Deliver patient education regarding procedures, post-op recovery, and discharge instructions Uphold strict infection control and safety protocols at all times
