As a Registered Nurse at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, you'll have all the staffing support, technology and resources you need to deliver safe, high-quality care-so you can focus on what you do best. Job Summary and Qualifications Under direct supervision of the Director/Charge Nurse, coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. Nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state nursing practice acts, ANA Standards of Practice and Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation policies and procedures under the guidelines of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).
Schedule:
Full-time/Days; 32 hours weekly (4 8-HR Shifts with rotating days off); limited Saturday coverage (up to 2 hours).
Environment:
Fast-paced, high-volume patient stream while collaborating with a multidisciplinary cardiac team and rapidly charting precise clinical data.
What qualifications you will need:
Graduate from school of nursing required; BSN preferred Current RN licensure required Excellent interpersonal skills required BCLS certification required upon hire. ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire A minimum of 2 years clinical experience on a telemetry, step down or intensive care unit. Preferably previous experience in a Cardiopulmonary Rehab Unit.
