Requirements:

Current and unrestricted RN license, with credentials in the state of practice Minimum of one year of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room Comprehensive understanding of perioperative nursing practices and protocols Ability to function efficiently under pressure in fast-paced surgical settings Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred Outstanding communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for surgery, providing both emotional support and clear explanations Collaborate seamlessly with surgeons, surgical technologists, and anesthesia teams Monitor patient status throughout procedures, ensuring high standards of care and safety Maintain accurate, timely documentation according to hospital protocols Adhere strictly to infection control and sterile technique requirements Respond to intraoperative emergencies with poise and sound clinical judgment
