Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Step into a critical position supporting patient care in a fast-paced surgical setting. This opportunity is tailored for experienced Registered Nurses with a background in Operating Room procedures, aiming to make a tangible impact alongside a skilled perioperative team.
Responsibilities:
Scrub, circulate, and provide direct nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia personnel, and surgical technologists to maintain a safe, aseptic environment Assess, plan, implement, and document perioperative nursing care Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are available and properly handled Adhere to established protocols regarding patient safety and infection control Monitor patient status and respond swiftly to changes in condition Provide education and support to patients and families regarding perioperative processes
Qualifications:
Valid and unrestricted RN license Minimum of one year recent experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain) Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize effectively Exceptional communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills Familiarity with sterile technique, safety standards, and surgical instruments
